Sceletium or Kanna as it is commonly referred to is a natural succulent, its indegenous to South Africa. Historicaly this ground cover was used and traded as a mood enhancer. It was even sold in shops in its raw form up untill the late 90′s.
Dutch governor of the Cape Colony, Simon van der Stel had this account of the natives “…They chew mostly a certain plant which they call Kanna … and are of a very cheerful nature…it is held by them in great esteem” The local inhabitants believed Kanna, Sceletium to be a powerfull mood enhancer. They called it the “clearer of spirits”.
At present many forms of this supplement can be found but none of them is as pure and potent as our Sceletium tortuosum Drops.
