  2. recoverypsychologist says:

Anything to say about recovery, coping, adaptation or getting over it?

  3. johnsondkf says:

    Good point, and I will.

  4. recoverypsychologist says:

Cool! I know it can be a struggle…no matter how well the recovery is

  5. sleestack808 says:

my symptoms were insomnia due to anxiety. No interests, sadness, empty feeling. can’t stop moving. Excessive drinking of water and loss of sex dive (which sucks).

We are two of a kind!

You hit the nail on the head. No energy, no desire, no motivation, to go to therapy or anything for that matter, until you get on a pill that will make you feel just good enough to be able to go to therapy. I missed so many therapy appointments that I can’t count. It’s all I can do to force myself to do anything such as get to school, work, grocery shop, appointments, much less get to therapy on a regular basis.

  8. johnsondkf says:

Thats why I made this channel, because I know about this subject more than I care to know. But I just want to try to help…

  9. Nurse613 says:

How come you had to change meds several times? I started on zoloft last year, and then I had the same problem you talked about. About how you couldn’t sleep, then being groggy the next day. This is exactly what happened to me. I had severe insomnia for many months, and then feel like in a fog the next day, can’t function, tired, can’t concentrate. Its gotten better, I can sleep a little more now. But still very much tired all the time.

  10. johnsondkf says:

Paxil- did nothing, prozac- did nothing, zoloft- no sleep, effexor -nothing, cymbalta -sick as a dog

  11. Nurse613 says:

how long have you had depression? what do you feel caused it? or started it? It helps me to see someone else in the medical field is going through the same thing. I always feel ashamed, since I should be able to function, I should be perfect like other nurses. This prob is very embarrassing for me. So you are a help. It’s a shame you are married though. You are a very attractive man.

  12. johnsondkf says:

As long as I can remember, genetics and environment both, and where do you hail from?? I dont get spoken to that way from anyone, even from the wife.

  13. Nurse613 says:

please keep doing more vids… Im trying to figure out what to do with this tired feeling… been tired for 10 years, thought that was bad… didn’t think it could get any worse than it was… Now is the worst it’s ever been… not sure if it’s because of the increase in the Zoloft dose… i was feeling this before they upped my dosage… I just wanna be able to function.

  14. johnsondkf says:

I will, and mabey try switching meds I dont know. Tired is the worst feeling on earth. See other videos.

  15. glennman35 says:

  18. Iznessmaurer says:

Very Good Commentary on Depression and all it emcompasses! Well done and thank v much; my feelings & thoughts were for the most part, very much validated. A relief to know I am not alone in suffering my depression and even better to actually ‘hear’ another fellow human being sharing a personal story as well as advocating the necessity of seeking professional help. My two cents: consult with a good psychiatrist rather than a psychologist. Thanks for the vid :-)

  19. FizzmenJr says:

  21. TellsHowItIs says:

ALL those symptoms you metioned I have, and more. It’s crazy and I can’t even find any help or support for it which I desperately need.
I’m basically existing rather then living.

  22. Annette84 says:
