Well it's new computer time again, and I need a stress relief- SO- best and most fun ways to destroy a HD?
I want it to be COMPLETELY unreadable (I’m a paranoid S.O.B.) and so I was wondering if anyone got any creative ideas to destroy a hard drive. I could really use some stress relief, so anything involving a battle cry would be great.
I’ve heard baseball bats and hammers aren’t 100% effective though.

Blowing things up is always fun. Try doing that. You might need a lot of explosive to blow it apart though haha
Paranoid? First, run DBAN on the drive at least once, it will wipe the drive thoroughly.

Once completed, disconnect the drive from your computer, unscrew the drive apart, and pass a magnet right over the exposed disc. Throw a bit of acid on it for good measure. Once you’re done, send it to a recycling center. If you feel daring, use a blowtorch or microwave. Have fun!
